First and most important rule to remember when using a Heddon Lure: Be patient! After your lure hits the water, pause a few seconds before starting your retrieve. Begin with a stop - go retrieve, pausing between cranks of your reel. If that action doesn't produce a strike, use a "steady" retrieve. Be ready for an explosive strike! |

The Torpedos create a wild splashing surface disturbance making them the perfect lures for schooling fish. Using quick, short and erratic twitches, the Torpedo performs at its best…producing explosive, heart-stopping surface strikes every time. |

The Lucky 13 can be fished several productive ways: the silence-blasting "chug" is produced with a brisk snap of the rod tip. It can be retrieved at a moderate speed causing it to run just below the surface and create a wild side-to-side action. A fast retrieve produces a skittering, spitting action that serves to promote explosive surface strikes from even the most wary predator. |

This dual prop design creates a surface commotion that will stimulate even the non-feeding fish into a frenzied strike. It can be fished slowly if fish are easily spooked by too much commotion, or "ripped" briskly when fish need an extra "wake-up" call on the surface. |

Lunkers love the Tadpollys quick, flashing action. They are remarkably versatile whether retrieved or trolled at slow speeds. On flat lines they run in the 2 ft. range. Usinga faster retrieve or trolling speed, these adaptable lures run to depths of 8 ft. When trolled on downriggers you can count on true-running productivity in any favorite salmon-steelhead waters, at any depth. Plus, the Tadpollys are equally being fished at home in the fast-running waters of any of North America's many productive steelhead streams. |

Hellbenders have held many state and world records for most all freshwater species. The unique heart-shaped diving lip design gives it the most tempting wide wobbling action. Its big lip design also makes it dive quick and deep, which allows it to flip easily over most structure. The consummate lure for fishing steep banks and drop-offs…down to at least 35 ft. on a long flat-line troll. |
